Collaborative Divorce Solutions of Orange County members Dr. Carol Hughes, Cathleen Collinsworth, Bruce Fredenburg, and Brian Don Levy, Esq. share their expertise with fellow Collaborative professionals on Thursday, October 27, at the 17th annual International Association of Collaborative Professionals (IACP) Networking and Education Forum in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The four-member panel has been asked to discuss the topic “How Interdisciplinary Teams Bring Clients to Agreement Readiness.”
Even experienced Collaborative Divorce practitioners often fail to understand how all professionals on an interdisciplinary team can assist and support clients, even high-conflict clients, to become “agreement ready.” This can deeply affect the family navigating their divorce.
Incorporating recent findings from neuroscience, this training is designed for all practitioners who want to continue evolving their ability to assist clients resolve their most difficult conflicts. From the inception of a case, the attorneys, neutral financial specialists, divorce coaches and child specialists on interdisciplinary teams simultaneously employ tools and techniques to shift clients toward Agreement Readiness, thereby improving cost effeciency and facilitating better outcomes with more lasting divorce agreements.
The panelists will also share their coaching skills appropriate for each profession and discuss how to create a more functional support for each profession, something often missing from most general Collaborative training sessions.
