Weeks 1-2
The party retains a Collaborative Team that consist of Coaches, Financial Specialist, Child Specialist and Attorneys.
Week 3
Initial 8-way meeting with Clients, Coaches, Financial Specialist, Child Specialist and Attorneys to sign Collaborative Statement of Understanding, Participation Agreement and Release of Information for all Team members. Review parties reason for choosing collaborative, discuss goals, immediate needs and schedule future meeting.
Week 4
Parties meet with Child Specialist and schedule child(ren) visits with Child Specialist
Weeks 5
Parties have initial meetings with Coaches to establish Mission Statement
Week 6
Parties meet with Financial Specialists together and once one on one (1-3 meetings as necessary).
Weeks 7-9
5-way meeting with Coaches, Child Specialist and Parties. 4-way meeting with Coaches to begin drafting Parenting Agreement.
Weeks 10-12
4-way meetings with Coaches. Additional meetings/telephone contact with Financial Specialist as necessary Additional meetings/telephone contact with Attorneys as necessary
Weeks 13-14
Pre-Meeting of Team prior to 8-way meeting. Second 8-way meeting with Full Collaborative Team and Parties to review:
Weeks 14-15
Telephone conference with coaches and Child Specialist prior to 5-way meeting 5-way meeting with Coaches, Child Specialist and Parties. 4-way meeting with Coaches to begin drafting Parenting Agreement
Weeks 16-24
4-way meeting with Attorneys to negotiate terms of settlement
Additional meetings with Coaches, Child Specialist and Financial Specialist as needed
Parenting Plan is completed and sent to Clients and Attorneys
Weeks 25-30
Attorneys draft and exchange documents Final documents are signed and filed
