Professional Requirements: Attorney at Law: Licensed in good standing to practice law in California with 5 years of post-licensor experience working with divorcing couples/Individuals and have completed continuing education guidelines to maintain license. Mental Health Professional: Licensed as either a psychologist (Psy.D., Ph.D.), licensed social worker (LCSW), marriage family therapist (LFMT), or licensed professional counselor (LPC) with 5 years of post-licensor experience with divorcing couples/individuals and family systems, and have completed continuing education guidelines to maintain license. Child Specialist: In addition to the above requirements for mental health professionals, child specialists shall have a minimum of 5 years, post-licensor experience, providing individual, child psychotherapy. Financial Specialist: (CFP®, or CPA, and CDFA™) with 5 years of post-licensor experience in Financial Services with a minimum 2 years of experience with divorcing couples/individuals. Membership Requirements: A member in good standing with the IACP Meet IACP & CDS Minimum Standards for Collaborative Practitioners and my professional credentials and additional specialty training complies with these requirements. Basic Training Completed an inter‑disciplinary collaborative model team training consisting of (14) hours or more of educational instruction and (6) hours or more of workshop role playing. Advanced Training Completed (18) hours in client‑related, facilitative conflict resolution such as basic mediation training (interest‑based, narrative, or transformative). Commit to attending a minimum 50% of CDS sponsored functions each year. i.e., monthly luncheons, educational and trainings sessions and or actively participate as a board or committee member. |
