Profile Introduction
I have been representing clients in my family law practice in Orange County for over 18 years. In my many years of practicing family law, I have personally observed the disappointments of clients who have experienced the sad result of adversarial actions. Most of the time, clients choosing this path are left with disappointing judicially imposed orders and attorney fees that exceed all expectations. My experience has led me to the firm belief that the interests of divorcing couples can be better served in a process that fosters respect, sensitivity, and reasonableness. This mindful approach is the sum and substance of the alternative dispute resolution process. There are alternatives to having to live with decisions made by a Judge. The law has a range of options which may not always be considered by a court, but which are available for your consideration in an alternative setting. Collaborative divorce and mediation gives you the the opportunity to explore these options and to agree on a result which is acceptable to both parties.
