Profile Introduction
Susie is a licensed Marriage, Family Therapist with a specialization in working with families in crisis. In working with divorcing couples and blended families, she uses a family systems approach that focuses on the dynamics of family members to help reduce conflict.
As a collaborative law divorce coach and child specialist, she is committed to helping couples find a peaceful resolution to ending their marriage and became involved with Collaborative Practice after seeing the devastation that an adversarial divorce process can cause to families.
Susie earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana and her Masters degree in clinical psychology at Pepperdine University. She is also a Mediator and was trained at the School of Law at Pepperdine University. As a Divorce Coach in collaborative divorce, she works with families in creating post-divorce relationships and developing parenting plans. She uses her training in family systems to work with couples, and families as they go through these difficult transitions.
